Hello to you, I’m Iain.

I direct the GameCity festival in Nottingham, UK. I do this at the Nottingham Trent University, where I also work on the National Videogame Archive, the Centre for Contemporary Play and several other projects.

I also write and talk about videogames and other cultural technologies for lots of different places.

I live in Nottingham with my brilliant wife, splendid son, stupid (and latterly, depressed) dog and several incredibly powerful computers.
